New coach Bob Bradley led the emerging United States football team to first place in the CONCACAF qualifying region. The nation has long been expected to step it up a notch and finally bring a level of consistancy that the heavyweights of the footballing world have established for decades. Whether this will be another year of disappointment or perhaps the year where the ’soccer’ crazy finally takes hold will be of interest to fans around the world. The USA with players like Oguchi Onyewu, Charlie Davies and Clint Dempsey are expected to make it past the group stage and put up a serious fight in the knockout stages.
